Today we used the small rings (hats) to balance on our heads while walking, listening and following different directions given by Josh and Lisa. Friends galloped and move like their favorite animal all while trying to balance their rings (hats) on their heads. We then rolled our rings and counted how many times friends could jump over them before the rings stopped.  Followed by spinning our rings and trying to scoop it up while it's still spinning. The Cardinals did a great job with this challenge! Nice work Cardinals. Friends then had a chance to engaged with a task or tasks from above they wanted to explore more!

Tuesday
After our morning jobs and morning meeting, we were off to Spanish class with Alicia. Today we went over the Spanish vocabulary that describe some articles of clothing we wear. Friends then took turns, two at a time, to play a swatter game using "mega" swatters. This week Alicia introduced us to the big swatters and the Cardinals were very excited to use them. The Cardinals also practiced singing Head-N-Shoulders and Mi cuerpo hace música in preparation for our Lower School assembly this Friday!! Today it was Shanga's turn to squeezed la vaca!

Back in our classroom, we ate snack followed by small group work. Friends worked in groups of fours recognizing uppercase and  lowercase letters and letter sounds. We worked with play dough and car tracks as we rotated through these three activities.
