Monday

                                    Weekend News                     

 

James - I went to grandma and grand pop's house. We had fun and did trucks. We drive back home and we went inside and we play. 

Sidney - I run around with my sister and I drank chocolate milk in the morning. I ate chicken and avocado for dinner. 

Blaise - I stay home a little bit and then I went to the YMCA to practice basketball. Then I went home and had dinner and went bed.

Angeline - I saw my friends and I clean up two times.  I watch a show and I play with my sister. 

Cooper - We ate breakfast and then we play. We watch a show. 

  

Hayden - I went to church and I learn about Moses. I buy a new toy from Target and I play with it at home. 

Lily - I get earrings in my ear and it hurt a little bit. I play with Magna-tiles and I made a kitty corn that had ice cream in it's hand.

Oz - I play at Jimmy's. He is my cousin.  I play Nintendo with daddy. 

Jackson - I play in my tent at home with Jaylen and mommy. My tent was inside not outside.

Adam - I watch tv and I play on my tablet and I play Mario Cart with daddy and papa. 

Ekin - I stay at home and then I went to Target and TJ Max. I buy a big doll house from Target. I lost my sunglasses at TJ Max and then we went back and I found them. 

Phoenix - I go to the movie theater with my mom and my brother. It was the Mario movie and I eat Doritos. I took a nap but before I took a nap I watch a little bit of tv. 

Riley - I play Wild Kratts and play games. I got ice cream and I get a ice cream scooper and it was fun. 

Shanga - I stay home and watch the Transformers movie. I went to Target and my dad let me get candy. Then I come back home and I got in the tub. 

In a game of swatter in Spanish class, the Cardinals listened carefully for the different parts of an airplane as they were called out by Alicia. Friends paired up in twos for this game. The Cardinals are getting pretty good at identifying parts of an airplane in Spanish.  Today it was Angeline's turn to squeeze la vaca! 

The Cardinals engaged in exploring cooperative play in gym class today with Josh and Lisa!

Tuesday

            The Cardinals working on their May self-portraits.

                               

Art class with Amanda was great, the Cardinals worked on creating their own Airplane Collage. Amanda said that collage is a fancy word for gluing. Amanda continued by explaining to friends that they can choose dark or light blue paper for the sky or background. Friends used different shapes and color paper to design their airplane. Asked your Cardinal how they created the airplane?

Wednesday

The first Wednesday of each month, we do not go to the meeting house. This day serves as a time to meet up/get together with buddies or with people across our school community. Today our second grade buddies invited us to their classroom. They have been working on creating their own stories and today they read them to us, along with some picture books from our classroom! Ask your Cardinals about their buddy's story/stories?

Keisha was not at school today and so some of our Cardinals volunteered to lead the class with some of our favorite songs and movements. Keisha would be just as proud as the Cardinal teachers were of our AMAZING Cardinals!! Nice Job friends!!

Thursday

Friday

The Cardinals had a fun time enjoying Friday Fun Board Games with our second grade buddies. Ask your Cardinal what game/s they played with their buddies?
